Bally's is a good place to work but they encourage and expect out-of-
pocket expenses that they aren't willing to pay for. They are horrible
in compensating employees for moving expenses, they will subject you to
short notice transferes, regardless of geographical area. They don't
have up-to-date computer equipment at the club level which complicates
reporting statistics and conducting analysis.
When it comes to short notice of events the Chicago Corporate Office is
the Grand Da'am of them all. Changes in policy, advertising and
promotion and changes in membership pricing are filtered down to the
local corporate office at a last minute effort which allows little time
for preparation to change mindsets, habit, trends., etc and are a real
moral booster and definately it makes the membership (patrons) angry.
