Counselor salaries are commission based, with no base salary. I did
not have a
performance review or a raise in 18 months. There is no sick leave or
paid
vacation. Counselors made 13% of the program fee ($4500-10,000)for a
three year
contract. When a client got a job, the counselor received an
additional 5% if
all the documentation was sent in. Sometimes it would take almost 2
months to
receive these payments. There wasn't any annual bonuses, stock options
or any
other perks beyond the free parking and gym membership from the
property I worked
at.
