Went through two rounds of interviews. The first was to show my portfolio of
artwork and fill
out an application. Since I was a student at the time, my portfolio did not need
to be totally
completed at a professional basis. They really wanted to see what artwork I had
and were
interested in my skills on the computer as well as artistic talent and
craftmanship. The
supervisor of the marketing department did the interviewing. Most questions were
based on
my skill level and class I was enrolled in. The second round was more about
where I wanted to
go in life and meeting the other Graphic Designers. The second interview also
consisted of
time scheduling and being able to work around my class schedule. The interviewer
pressed the
issue of working multiple tasks and under many deadlines. I was asked how I took
this kind of
pressure and if I would be able to handle the big demand of production and still
retain quality
work as will. I was not sure if this was a scare tactic, but I was up for the
adventure.
