This is not sour grapes but the facts of what occurred. As a long-term
employee, I thought my future with the company was in good shape until I
developed carpal-tunnel syndrome (yes, it was work related). As my
condition worsened, I was pushed to do more. Attempts to move into
another department were rebuffed by management until it came to a point
that I could no longer function. At that point, I was told that they
could no longer employ me. I was let go with no severance package and
had to sue for wrongful dismissal in order to receive what was my due.
Being a Canadian employer, their actions were against the law.
With ADP, everything is fine as long as you can perform but do not get
sick!!!!! Your performance reviews will reflect the issue and you will
not get raises. Management will block your efforts to try to move to a
job that you can perform. You WILL lose in the end.
