ADP is a high accountability environment, meaning that ADP using metrics
for everything from sales to training to implementation to client
services. If you don't like being held accountable for the speed and
quality of your work, look elsewhere. If you are a hard worker and
willing to prove it, ADP is great place to work.
ADP is the most family friendly company I have worked for to date. Most
people at ADP work 8:00AM to 5:00PM and unscheduled weekend work is
rare. The dress code is business casual, except for casual Fridays
(varies by location). Everyone at ADP goes by their first name,
including "Art", or Aurther Weinbach, the CEO.
Performance is rewarded at ADP because performance can be and is
measured. Pay scales are a bit lower than average, but ADP makes up for
it with an excellent retirement package, incentive pay, and top-notch
job security. Benefits are average for large companies.
It is very common at ADP to find people who have worked for the company
for 10, 15, 20, or even 25+ years. The AVERAGE tenure in some
departments is pushing 10 years in our location and managers routinely
have 15+ years with the company. Talent and hard work will lead to
opportunities for advancement provided you are willing to relocate.
