The hiring process took over three months. I had to go through 3
different rounds of interviews. I interviewed with my immediate
supervisor first, then the head of the institution (Bill Drayton), then
had to meet with members of his senior staff. The head of the institution
insisted that to apply for a job with him I had to take a mandatory Myers
Brigss test, or they would not consider my application any further. Not
all of these interviews were back to back. Weeks would go by without my
hearing from them. Even after the final interview three weeks went by
before they called to offer me the job.
