My original interview was with an employment agency for screening
purposes after which I was informed that I had reached the last 3. I
then had an interview with the managing director and operations manager
and felt a strong rapport at that meeting. This feeling was vindicated
when they offered me the position two days later. There were specific
questions that were asked regarding how I would handle certain
situations with drivers and I guess I answered them to their
satisfaction. It also made me realise that there were some operational
issues in that area that I would need to address pretty soon on
commencement of employment. I was right. An offer was made to me
regarding salary and conditions but I bargained extra dollars and a
company vehicle.
