Although Archistone is a small commpany, just 45 employees, it is
certainly a dynamic that takes every opportunity to maximise its
investment. As the business was originally started by a family there
remains that family owned business operation about it which at times
seems hard to penetrate. However, of late, there have been major
attempts to ensure the business stays progressive by employing
specialist managers such as myself to take over areas in which the
current family management members have little experience. There is also
attempts at setting procedures and processes in place to help make the
business more transparent to the employees and customers alike. There
is great opportunity to advance, but only to a senior management level,
and you are indeed the master of your destiny. As a senior decision
maker the company does provide its support for your decisions. You are
also rewarded for effort and for attaining agreed goals. The company
has a uniform for all staff and I agree that by wearing a uniform it
helps make you feel like a member of a team.
