Job Title Workplace Survey
Customer Service Rep On paper, Anthem appears to be an great place to work, however, the reality is "They Are Not". Hours are difficult to meet because of the lack of parking spaces available. You must get on a list to get a space, the wait can be over a year. When your name does come up, you'll find there is a parking fee. Some departments, like Customer Service are difficult to transfer out of when another opportunity comes up. Employess are constantly monitored and the phones are constant. You even have to ask to go to the restroom. You feel more like a prisoner than a valued employee. The initial training is good, but once you move to the work environment, you'll find that there is a lack of cooperation from the supervisors. You find yourself almost abandoned when it comes to learning how to handle the more difficlt problems. All of this confirms why the turnover rate is outragious at 30% I do not recommend it as a place for anyone looking for a pleasant environment and a long term career.
