This is a small defense contractor in a sea of big fish. They are
autocratic with an entirely antiquated accounting system which forces
employees no matter how remote from the main office to file paper
timesheets. Generally the company pays well but if they throw people
under a bus at the first sign of trouble I don't see how morale can be
high. The company lost a contract last year and 105 people left the
company as a result. Yet that contract manager kept his job. I won my
contract and lost my job. If everyone knew about that I think morale
would be even worse. Even if they offered me my job back I would not
take it. I would definitely not recommend anyone to pursue employment
with Amtec Corporation.
