In ISG (IT) here at AIG, its definitely who you work for that makes all
the difference. Certain groups have grueling work conditions while
others are relatively laisez faire. This is the only AIG area where
bus.casual dress is the rule. That's because we were moved to Jersey
City as part of post 9/11 decentralization. CEO of ISG is very forward
thinking and open minded. Fights for us to get a good shake at the
company where we are viewed as a cost center just a grade above
janitor. Raises were frozen for 2 years but reinstitued this and
bonuses have been instituted over the past 3 years. There is a fluid
structure with oppotunities for the entrepreneurial types. Non-
entrepreneurs can also find a place to hide if they keep there end up!
