A very poorly managed organization. However, it is making some progess
towards reengineering its processes and systems. The managers here are
narrow minded and unwilling to learn from mistakes. This is not a
learning organization. Every project is managed as if it has never been
done before. Managers are unwilling to consult workers on issues where
the worker has experise.
Salaries are low. Hours are long.
The retirement and health care benefits are good.
The workers are mostly low class. Women have threatened to beat each
other up. Extra-marital sexual affairs are common. Team leaders
threaten workers who make mild criticisms to management.
Working here is like stepping back in time 20 years. Management
preaches the latest buzzwords about diversity and team work, but they
manage the old-fashioned way.
