| Assistant Manager of Eyeglasses |
I was offered a position working 45 hours a week for $28,000/year. The position
also included an incentive based on how well the store was doing in sales goals
among other goals. As an eyeglass manager I was to split, using number of hours
worked, the commission amount between myself and any opticians I had working
under me. The split would be anyhere from 1%-4% of total eyeglass sales depening
on the other numbers set by the company. These splits were paid out bi-weekly on
every paycheck. As a General Manager I was offered $34,000/year with the same 45
hour work load. This position also came with an incentive plan which was based
off of how the store did as a total compared to the sales goal. How much over we
did depended on the incentive I recieved at the end of the month.
