| Eyeglass Manager/General Manager |
Hours differed between locations in Roseville it was Sunday-Saturday;
Sunday Noon-5:00, Monday thru Friday 9:00-7:00 and Saturday 9:00-6:00.
Managers were required to be there an hour before open and closing
proceedures would take from 15 minutes to an hour after close depending
on the flow of customers at the end of the day. Dress code for
everyone except the general manager and doctor was a company issued
shirt with dress slacks, kahki or navy blue. General managers and
Doctors were just required to be in professional dress. No open toed
shoes, jeans, sneakers or anything of the sort. Opportunities for
advancement were good until you got to an assistant manager postion.
There is an assistant manager for Eyeglasses and an assistant manager
for contacts. If you are able to advance to a General Manager position
there is not very far you can go because of the fact that anyone past
that point (into the District/Division manager and regional manager and
up) has been in the company for 10+ years or has had at least the ten
years of experience as a district/division manager for another company
along the same lines.
