Corporate procedures are structured yet not set in stone. Good knowledge
base for new people and very friendly(corp. office is located in Texas)
Great warehouse operations. State of the art set-up allows for shipping
out volumes of items correctly. 5 regions w/app 70 sales offices.
Offices within regions work well with each other..."poaching" is frowned
upon and seldom occurs(usually it's by a newer sales person)Inside sales
people have the opportunity to make a LOT of money with monthly
commissions...customer base is very broad which helps during slow
economies...branch managers are encouraged to visit customers and their
paper work is minimal. Outside sales is new to the company(last Sept.)
but they compensate well, are encouraging, and don't require excessive
reports on time/mileage/etc. Very good reputation in the industry so
the "name" has meaning. Credit department is easy to work with and
sensitive to customers' payment issues. If you are sales oriented, this
is a great place to work!!! You will be rewarded for your efforts! They
advertise open positions on monster.com(oops) If you show an interest
and are capable, you'll move up.
