Allergan is considered to be the #1 Specialty pharmaceutical company in
the world. In the ophthalmology realm, they are currently ranked #2
but, are close behind to taking the #1 position. The company's
backbone is the BOTOX department where there are many great things
cooking. The company has strong outlook on its future business.
Allergan also has a strong product pipeline with a vast research and
development capability. This past year, Allergan has opened up a
couple of new facilities to expand its research and development
capabilities. I was very impressed with Allergan's campus when I first
set foot on it. Now, it is even better. The company has its own gym,
soccer field, basketball court, and tennis court for its employees to
use. Allergan also promotes a sense of community with its employees.
There are many employees that have been at the company over 25 years
and demonstrated their loyalty.
