In the 1990's Howmet was one of the elite manufacturers to work for in
the World. In 2000 Howmet was purchased by Alcoa whose relentless blind
desire for short-term gains to promote a failed acquisition strategy
has gutted Howmet of all professional talent. Once a power, Howmet is
now a shell of it's former self. If you are looking for a career, I
suggest you look elsewhere. A common feeling at Howmet is if you have
a brain Alcoa will ask you to leave.
