Job Title Interview Survey
First officer I was interviewed by two people, a human resources person and a pilot. The questions were not technical in nature but geared toward conflict resolution. For example, "have you ever had an emergency in the cockpit and how did you handle it?", "have you ever had a conflict with a crew member and how did you handle it?". There were also questions in regards to where I saw myself in the future and if I willing to relocate. The next step after a successful interview was to be evaluated flying in a simulator. The last step in the process was the aviation medical. There were a few other requirements such as being able to hold a current passport, travel outside of the country and pass a security screening.
