I make what I feel is a fair wage for my position. I do not feel the raises
happen as often as they should and unfortunately I do know they their is people
of different sex making higher pay than I do and receive more raises. I feel my
way should be more around the 14 to 17 per hour. But even if we take on a higher
roll the pay does not accomodate for more job responsibilities. Some times they
expect alot in a short period of time but I do feel overall we are above most
competitors for the same job I am doing but not for when I do additional work!
The benefits offered are very competitive even to those of companies such as
Wal-Mart. The company just recently is starting a signing bonus for new hires
recommended by an employee if the employee stays for 6 months then a year. We get
bonuses on quaters based off all our office numbers falling into place. We do
receive vacation time which is accured and sick time which is accured, we get
reimbursed for mileage and are put up in hotels and meals are paid for if we have
to travel for work. We have life and disability and medical benefits.
