Acquis is a boutique consulting firm with an entrepreneurial / startup
environment. The two founders know every employee, and every employee
knows every member of the firm. The founders appreciate the work
everyone does try to be as involved as possible in the success of
individual projects. Further, they are genuinely concerned about the
well being of each individual member of the Acquis team.
That being said, the firm is in high growth mode. Team members wear
multiple hats and consistently work hard. But it does not seem like
anyone is complaining. People truly enjoy what they do and are
interested in the success of the company. Further, the environment
opens up opportunities and experiences at junior levels that would most
likely not even be dreamed of at other bulge bracket management
consulting firms.
Dress code is business casual in the office, but varies from client to
client. Hours can be expected to typically be in excess of 45, possibly
around 60, definitely under 80. Opportunities for advancement will be
plentiful as the firm continues to expand.
