Most recent salary package - grossed $85,000 - base of $70k plus
overtime - received stock options (performance bonus - aka eUnits before
anything with 'e' sounded really passe - 5 weeks vacation (3 earned + 2
banked OT) - great parking spot at the elevator door in the underground
for $20/month (still not sure how I swung that, probably taking pity on
me for the type of car I drove - wanted me to get hustled away before
any other tenant in the building saw that someone from our firm would
dare to drive such a pile of junk - (I have a Harley which I would never
drive - that's why I have this s**t-box for work.
Started at $30k in 1995 because my magazine idea went belly up - was
able to double my salary based on performance ratings within 2 years.
Great place to work for workaholics - the only reason I quit -
regrettably on September 11th - before I figured out the world was
caving in - was because I had an ultimatum from my family either be home
for more than 5 waking hours per day, or move in to the office for good -
the Hermann Miller chairs were comfy, but not that comfy!!
