Work in a corporate environment. I am an outsourced contractor working
for the local large teleco. Employees are culturally diverse. We have
consultants, full-time contractors, part-time contractors, etc. To
advance, one must assume leadership managerial role, usually via a team
lead position. Then, a project/product manager role. With longevity
and continued success, once could become a partner, much like you would
find in a law firm.
