my interview was extremely relaxing with bob king, ewr manager. i was
hired on-the-spot due to my previous experience with united airlines and
the fact that ata was starting up at ewr. attendance record and your
crime record are critical. airlines run by the clock so you need to be
on-time all-the-time. you need to flexible with shifts and days since
seniority rules. you must have no crimes as you work for the faa and
need access to aircraft and sensitive areas of the airport. you must be
honest and trustworthy since you deal with money at ticketing, recover
lost items on the aircraft (like wallets) and deal with baggage and
their contents. hopefully you will have a good relationship with your
former employer because your work history will be checked._and by all
means....use proper etiquette (please, thank you), dress conservatively
and be at ease at your interview. always send a thank-you letter to the
interviewer. have your resume available at the interview...with a pen.
be ready to fill out lotsa paperwork.
