When I first applied at AT&T Wireless I had no idea how much the company
had to offer. I had never worked in the wireless industry before. The
company has an incredible training program and compensation package for
their sales positions. They offer tuition assistance, health benefits,
they will contribute to a charity that you volunteer time to. They also
have life insurance, 401K plans with matching contributions, Employee
stock purchase plans and more. I have always felt as though I was
working for a small company because the managers above me take the time
to get to know every employee under their supervision by name. At
company functions they make it a point to touch base with every employee.
There is always opportunity to advance. An employee can apply for any
job being offered that they qualify for. The dress code is business,
which I like. There is too many people dressing casual these days. The
hours very from store to store depending on where it is located(ie, mall
stores have mall hours and freestanding stores usually close earlier.)
