The starting salary package is $10.55 an hour for my position, which also
applies to new hires in training, and the top pay I believe is approximately
$14.55 currently, but is under review to be raised also. Both of these also have
commisson benefits, which of course range from the employees productivity in the
sales department. Just for reference last month I made approximately $520.00 in
commision and on previous months I have made as much as $900.00+. At the end of
the year, if sales quotas are met and so far going above speculation, all ALLTEL
employees will recieve $1,000.00 as a Christmas bonus as well. Stock options are
available, although I personally do not have any, I do know that a lot of my
father's retirement is invested in them and they have constantly been on the rise
since he aquired them. As far as vacation time, for the first five years an
employee at my level recives two weeks paid vacation with five paid "optional
holidays", which more or less means that they can be broken down into hourly
increments if needed.
