Store Manager Working for Aldi is a very high-paced, multi-tasking job. Staff is very limited in each store due to high productivity demands. If you have a good manager, most stores have a family feel and culture. Not all managers are good though. There is no room or opportunity for advancement. All district managers are hired from the outside. Cashiers, subs, and assistants can be promoted to manager, but that is it. There is only promotion to store manager, no managers are hired from the outside. Diversity is good. Hours are BAD for managers. Scheduled for 50 and you work 65+ very often. Uniforms are required and supplied. That is a good thing!
