AFLAC is an excellent choice for a corporate career - no matter what
age, race, or background. Employees are treated very, very well. Perks
to being an AFLAC employee include a whole week of "Employee
Appreciation" with give-aways, catered meals, gifts, prizes and a fun-
filled morning at the Columbus Civic Center with music, awards, prizes
and trip give-aways. Each employee is given family packages at theme
parks such as Six Flags Over Georgia. Employees are given ample Personal
Time Off according to years in service - which the average years of
service is probably much higher than national averages. Employees don't
leave! AFLAC has never (knock on wood) had to laid the first person off
in the 50+ years this company has been in existence - and the corporate
philosophy stems from the roots of being a family run business (which it
still is today - the son of one of the founders is the CEO and Chairman
of the Board). The work environment is business casual and AFLAC likes
to promote from within.
