Working hours are highly flexible, around 45hrs per week. In Venture
Capital, dress code is not that strict, however on the PE side of the
business suits are a must. Culture is open, but very british - it is a
UK firm with a non UK appendix and people with a british accent have an
advantage. People are friendly, it is not as competitive as Investment
banking or consulting, but easily as political - if you have friends in
high places, life gets easier. If relocation is not an issue, there is
room for development, without relocation it is more difficult.
