Want to Review a Different School?

Great for tech and working in the valley after school. Professors are tied into the cutting edge legal and corporate issues in the Valley. Great alumni network both in house and in all the main tech focused law firms in Northern California
Very competitive for the top spots. Focused on IP. Classes take too many students contributing to the school's ranking decline.
If you want to work in the Valley in any tech law related area this school is perfect. The scholarship opportunities are great and if you place in the top 10% you are considered on par with Stanford and Berkley law students for receiving the Biglaw jobs with the added benefit of a fraction the student debt.

Great school for start-ups and Silicon Valley connections. The student body is great and the campus is beautiful. It's close to San Francisco without being in the city. You can live nearby and walk to school. The professors are AMAZING. I have made some life long friends from professors and classmates. A couple of professors even helped myself and two classmates set up a company pro-bono. The certificates, especially the sports law and health law one are great.
The facilities are outdated but they are building a new library. The law library is really old and the class building is kind of cramped. The curriculum and career center is heavily IP based because of being in Silicon Valley. I wasn't an IP attorney so it was hard to find a niche.
Make sure you really want to go to law school. Santa Clara is expensive in both tuition and rent. See if you can negotiate a scholarship. Make sure to join as many clubs as you can. It's a great school if you make the most of it.
