Great School

August 2017 | FORMER STUDENT

Uppers

The business program is second to none. I am more prepared than my colleagues who have come from some of the other top programs in the country

Downers

Their isn't too much negative to say. The only downer I can say is that it isn't always as recognized as some of the other top schools in the country.

Comments

CMU will prepare you as well as any school out there.

August 2017 | FORMER STUDENT

Quantitative focus, analytics focus, "big data" before "big data" was cool, very rigorous, very strong faculty and history, technology focus, engineering approach, workload makes the work world easy in comparison, Integrated approach with other schools/programs within the University is very innovative

Downers

Extreme workload, not great in leadership training, not great for marketing, not great for consumer focused company managers

Comments

Great, great program. Very high work load but makes the actual work world seem easy in comparison. Very quantitative in its approach, particularly in the first year. Provides skills that make it easy to dominate other MBA's in terms of quant skills and analytics.
