Amazing school, don't regret it a second

June 2017 | FORMER STUDENT

Incredible faculty. Great, social student body with many outlets for finding your niche and forming lifelong friendships. Endless opportunities to explore different fields and subjects. Excellent support from the university to concentrate and focus your academic interests. And Atlanta is an amazing city to spend your college years.

Downers

School "spirit" and a feeling of school unity is lacking. Generally underrated nationally. Career services office when I was there wasn't the best, but no one I knew had issues finding jobs after graduation if they weren't already headed to grad school.

Comments

If you go, definitely take advantage of everything Emory has to offer.

Diversity of People, Very Engaging. I really like the fact I was able to take so many different types of classes.

Downers

Its all about who you know and if you navigate the school well enough is how good of a time you will have.

Environment, beautiful view and great location
Professors are very friendly and helpful
lots of school activities and clubs, you can always find the ones that you are mostly interested in

Downers

they closed the visual art department
the course settings are not that systematical, lack of connection if you took different professors

Comments

if you want a balance of metro city and beautiful, relaxed life style, go to emory.

October 2015 | CURRENT STUDENT

Uppers

Good financial aid, small classes, decent housing, approachable professors in office hours, good connections in Atlanta, strong academics

Downers

professors not always clear and understandable, inconsistent classes, some professors are easier than others so the easier classes would fill up quicker, administration doesn't seem to care much for the students who are not well connected or poor but does seem to care much more for students who are well connected. no athletics

Comments

good school overall although the administration seems to be against you.
