BYU offers a great education at an affordable cost. They still attract top offers from leading Fortune 1000.

Downers

Some programs lack career development opportunities. The Civil Engineering department is filled with students who need guidance on where/how they should prepare for a full-time job.

Comments

Live close to campus! Parking is becoming a nightmare. There's a great community south of campus.

Do well in your classes and chase good job opportunities, and you can literally go work anywhere you want. The top students at BYU match top students at almost any other school. So going here for undergraduate in business, pre-med, or engineering will not set you back in anyway whatsoever for your future career goals.

Downers

The culture here is pretty homogeneous, but that's not a necessarily a bad thing, you just either fit it or you don't. There's not a lot of systemized career exploration options. You kind of have to carve your own path and figure out what you want on your own.

Comments

There's is not a cheaper, more prestigious school you can find to attend in the US that will prepare you for a professional career.
