- Immense learning experience

- Amazing teams and work culture

- Fun and challenging project

- Incredible accommodation and other perks

- Lots of intern events

Downers

Long hours, but that's the consulting world for you.

Advice to Potential Interns

Research consulting well. What skills are required? What's the work like? What sorts of projects will you be faced with? If you don't think you'd enjoy it, avoid it. If you think it's what you should be doing and what you're good at, GO FOR IT! This isn't just another internship - expect to be challenged on a daily basis, learning constantly, and developing skills on the go. Also, work culture is probably the most important thing when making a decision about the firm. A.T. Kearney is known for being the 'down-to-earth' firm, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll love it here!

Client Exposure, Team Cohesion, Intern Social activities, real-world work experience, high levels of responsibility and influence

Downers

Work hours were longer than traditional 9-5 roles, but was outweighed by the impactful work that we were able to do and the contributions we made to the client and the firm.

Advice to Potential Interns

Prepare to work hard, and to have an incredibly rewarding experience. You will be stretched outside of your comfort zone but always have support within an arm's reach.

Advice to Management

The internship was an extremely positive experience. There are few things that I think would have made it better. One area that could be improved is the level of transparency in the feedback process and sharing evaluation forms with summer associates as well as providing them with clearer timelines of the evaluations. The compensation was industry leading. If there was one suggestion in that area it would be to provide relocation benefits prior to the start date to assist with the actual relocation. Overall outstanding job in the staffing and project selections. My team was incredible and the opportunities that I was presented with were ones that helped to stretch and develop me. The work was impactful and the training was beneficial.
