4.8 of 5 stars

San Francisco, CA | 2015 | VERIFIED INTERN

Uppers

The extensiveness of the work interns get to perform is truly very valuable.

Downers

The length of the internship was a con; I wish it was a few weeks longer.

Advice to Potential Interns

Meet as many individuals you can to understand if the firm is a great fit or not. Most often, one will conclude the firm has a lot to offer to anyone and everyone.

Great Experience at Big 4 Firm only Trumped by the Culture and People

4.8 of 5 stars

Cincinnati, OH | 2015 | VERIFIED INTERN

Uppers

Flexible schedule and career development. As an intern I had very easy access to Managers, Directors and even Partners on a daily basis.

Downers

I can't list any cons outside of having to make the transition from a college schedule to a work life.

Advice to Potential Interns

Be yourself, and have fun. PwC has a great culture that is very diverse and accepting. I learned more about different cultures and places in the world this summer than I have in the last few years .

Dream Job For An Accounting Major Straight Out Of College

5.0 of 5 stars

Nashville, TN | 2015 | VERIFIED INTERN

Uppers

The best aspects were the real life work experience with clients and job duties. During college, its hard to translate classroom materials into a career but my experience was a great way for me to begin to understand how to develop my classroom knowledge into the next step.

Downers

The least thing I liked about my internship was the length of time, I think if I was able to stay longer it would have been better. (School required a 3 month maximum internship)

Advice to Potential Interns

I think you should look at the people of the firm/business. You'll be more able to learn in an environment with people that will challenge you and help you to grow.

Advice to Management

With regards to training, I would say "check-in" training would be more beneficial than learning all the systems at once. I know everyone is in a rush to complete their trainings but it would have been easier to digest over time.
