Boston Consulting Group Review

5.0 of 5 stars

December 2014 | CURRENT EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Management is easily accessible, very talented group of people, firm is highly entrepreneurial, steep learning curve, fully-paid MBA is an option

Downers

Staffing for projects depends a lot on budgets which can be tight, lots of travel and hours can be very long including lots of weekend work

Comments

As everyone knows, the entire process is mostly case based; however, talking about your resume, why you want to be at BCG, and building some sort of relationship with the interviewer is very important as well. When studying for cases, I spent about 3 weeks and about 4-5 hours a day practicing. Learn as many methodologies as possible...the more tools the better. Practicing with a partner and speaking out your answers will help a lot as well.
