Sounds like a cliche but I truly love the people and culture at Oliver Wyman

Downers

Not getting enough brand recognition for the great work Oliver Wyman does

It's a full service offering top tier consultancy without the top tier attitude.

The amazing people

Comments

It's a firm filled with highly capable professionals - you will often feel that you're the "dumbest" person in the room. However, that just makes the firm all the better as people strive to improve. There is a great culture of mentorship and people feel comfortable befriending one another. This is not a firm where competition with your peers will drive you mad.

The culture, the clients and the compensation

Downers

The hours

Comments

Think beyond the prestige. Our office had a 100% acceptance rate this year for new recruits, including multiple people who had offers from McKinsey and BCG. There is a good reason for that. They will be in a firm with a better culture, no "up or out" and with better compensation.

Nonstop learning, endless opportunities

We are changing the entire consulting industry

Downers

Too few hours in the day to chase every opportunity

Comments

OW consultants are brilliant but_not_ arrogant people. It's just a better place to work than other firms that may have been around longer.
