But it is not a place where someone will hold your hand, tell you what you need to do, or guide you to these opportunities. You need to invest in your own development, cultivate strong relationships, and prove your self through your performance. If you don't like to work under a pay-for-performance system, Gallup is not the place for you.

Gallup is a great place to work, but it's not for everyone. We do things differently than most consulting firms - we're not very hierarchical, everyone has an opportunity to get promoted (irrespective of age) and we value bright, driven people but not exclusively from the consulting world. Most of our successful hires are the least experienced. Benefits are pretty bad, but there are many other things that make up for it.
