Sometimes those who deliver are allowed to behave badly and the Firm doesn't take a stand to have the tough conversations

The firm will always take so set your boundaries early and clearly. The Firm will respect it if you explain the boundaries appropriately, but do it because if you let the Firm take they will and it will eventually lead to too much compromise.
