Think about what is important to you. Understand what litigation consulting involves. Identify if this overlaps with your interest. After that if you are interested and are a good team player and like that environment, go ahead and apply.

June 2017 | FORMER EMPLOYEE

Uppers

- Amazing lack of internal competition

Downers

- Lack of non-grad school/data analytics exit-opportunities

Very competitive application process that includes a econ consulting version of a case interview. Great job for quantitatively-oriented individuals interested in law.

Surrounded by exceedingly intelligent coworkers, analyst thrives

Entry-level in Financial Services | New York, NY | 2016 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Culture, challenging work, exit opportunities

Downers

Hours can be bad at times

Comments

Cornerstone is an excellent career choice for an academically-inclined candidate. My coworkers are exceptionally intelligent and go on to/have graduated from top PhD and MBA programs, or go on to top data analytics roles or JD programs. It is a challenging, rewarding environment at a firm that is unique within its field.

Constantly learning, not constantly working.

Entry-level in Economic | New York, NY | 2016 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The people and the hours.

Downers

Occasional tedious work.

I have received numerous offers over the years to move to competitors but never seriously considered any of them given my happiness at Cornerstone.

Executive in Economic | San Francisco, CA | 2016 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The ability to work with very smart colleagues and experts who are also extremely nice people.

Downers

The job can be demanding at times.

Comments

I would highly encourage anyone to apply as I would not really consider moving to a competing consulting firm.
