Comments

Every company out there says their employees are their greatest asset. Censeo actually lives it.

Many of the benefits of working at Bain, BCG, or McKinsey, but with better work/life balance and focus on supporting mission-focused organization

Partner in Government/Public Sector | Washington, DC | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

work/life balance

Downers

still has small firm growing pains

Comments

If you want to live in DC, work for mission driven organizations (higher ed, government, nonprofits), work with really smart people on really challenging problems ... but don't want the lifestyle of a McKinsey ... come to Censeo.

Censeo exceeded the expectations of what I thought it would be like to consult for a small firm.

Entry-level in Government/Public Sector | Washington, DC | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

The people, the early opportunities, the learning

Downers

Would be nice if people knew who we were more generally

Great people, small teams, lots of responsibility

4.6 of 5 stars

Entry-level in Strategy | Washington, DC | 2015 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

People, work-life balance, culture

Downers

50/50 model, diversity of projects

Comments

You'll get more responsibility at every level than you would at any other firm, but you have to be ready for that growth opportunity. The 50/50 staffing model gives variety, but can also split focus. The variety of projects definitely gives options for you to try different things, but they're all in similar practice areas. If you're only interested in private sector, you won't find much of that at Censeo.
