Downers

Advancement and Leadership Opportunities

Comments

It's not unheard of for new associates to be on the bench for their first 3-6 months. The company overhired consultants last year, before they hired the leadership to sell work.

Uppers

Culture of openness to new ideas and employees (especially junior) being expected to create, innovate and see their good ideas through to fruition

Downers

Anxiety and low morale around business landscape (not selling enough work).

Comments

If you are confident and smart, but need more consulting experience then it's a great place to work. Diplomatically challenging and standing behind your work deliverables and taking strong positions is definitely appreciated at all levels, but especially when you are junior.
