Salary is good, and the people I have worked with have been great

Downers

There are not as many projects to choose from, sometimes you can get lost in the shuffle

Comments

Great place to start a career, but you must be moivated to work hard when you get an assignment. Make a good impression at your first client project. Don't suck up to upper management just because of the title, it won't help you advance and colleagues at the same level will not be fans.

Chicago, IL | 2013 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Work life balance, local work, healthcare focus, digital transformation

Downers

Small raises, modest bonuses, further growth is required, need to identify a clear niche

Comments

Capgemini Consulting is a small company within a larger company. There is significant room for growth in the US an we are being given some resources to invest in this growth. I wish there was a closer collaboration between the IT part of the company and the management consulting side. We are missing opportunities because this is not the case.

Promising growth and opportunities in the next several years. Despite a large corporate parent, the hub offices still feel small and entrepreneurial.

Comments

Cases are generally setup to overload the candidate with information - numerous exhibits, long prompts, and lots of irrelevant information. Learning to sort and synthesize quickly will help in case interviews.

Comments

It's not unheard of for new associates to be on the bench for their first 3-6 months. The company overhired consultants last year, before they hired the leadership to sell work.
