Baird has a unique culture driven by it's Midwestern location and middle-market focus. The Company has a rich history in treating its employees well and is recogonized consistently for that. Also, being a private, employee-owned firm allows management to take a longer-term time horizon in business decisions, which benefis the Company versus its publicly-traded peers.

The people at your firm make the difference. You will be spending so much time with the people you work with, you should really make sure you that you get along with them and can see yourself spending many hours a week with them. This is especially true as the experience you will receive at most firms is comparable.

Experience, intimately involved in processes

Comments

Need to have a passion for middle market banking. The interview process is competitive, but the people here are extremely nice and willing to speak with you outside the interview process.
