Compensation, personal network (partners take care of junior employees - either pay them or place them in PE / HF)

Hours / large responsibility given to analysts - high exposure is stressful


Comments

Most candidates that get a PWP offer have competing offers from Centerview, Evercore and Blackstone. Chosing an elite boutique should be based on culture. Comp / hours are nearly identical everywhere, as are exit ops.
