People, position in the industry, you get to pitch the deal as well as work on it vs. other firms that might hand it off to another team once you win the mandate

If you really want to have ownership in your work and not be completely trapped in the corporate pecking order than this would be the place for you.

When looking at any firm you need to look at a few things: the people, deal flow and skill set. At PWP the peopl are top notch and exposure to extremely senior bankers is very common. I have had the opportunity to sit in several client meetings and pitches as an analyst. These are not just meetings with small companies, but multi-billion dollar organizations. This exposure has been phenominal and is not uncommon at the firm. Regarding skill set, the firm offers good training at the beginning of the analyst career and also has a good amount of on the job training where analysts are able to hone their technical skill sets. This is necessary not only for on the job performance but also necessary for anyone thinking about jobs in PE.

Our firm is unique amongst investment banks in its focus on clients and responsibility given to junior-level employees. You will form long-lasting relationships with partners who were group-heads at other banks.
