Entry-level in Mergers & Acquisitions | New York, NY | 2016 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Lean deal team, exposure to senior management, compensation and prestige in the U.S.

Downers

Lack of brand name internationally, sporadic deal flow (sometimes lumpy), few transfer opportunities

Comments

The workload can be intense at times as analysts/associates will tend to work longer hours, while working on a live deal due to the lack of personnel. The compensation is very competitive/usually beats the Street.

Worked hard; tried to learn as much as possible
