Experienced in Mergers & Acquisitions
New York, NY | 2013 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Very prestigious firm that gets invovled in many high profile transactions. Small firm culture allows for interaction with clients as well as senior bankers/founders.

Downers

Being a smaller firm, we don't cover all industries fully, but that is changing.

Comments

This is a great place to be an analyst, especially if you see yourself moving on to the buyside. PE and Hedge Funds know that they get the best candidates from "elite boutiques" and value the experience gained from working on small transaction teams with a lot of responsibility.

Uppers

Most of the people are great

Downers

Management is a bit aloof, especially with recent changes at the firm

Comments

Compensation seems market and the business outlook is not any better or worse than other similar firms. Quality of life is decent - significantly better than other firms, but clear improvements could be made that would increase morale and productivity.
