People here are really active, ambitious and friendly and I love the fact that most people here seem like really close friends outside of work as well.

Downers

I don't like the hours, but I guess that's the nature of banking.

my peers are excellent people, overall level of intelligence is high and you know you always have a chance to be involved in a big, headline-making deal

Downers

the hours are intense but i don't think it is much worse than other firms...we could use more resources for administrative tasks, we are still lean in support services

Comments

The job is challenging but continually intellectually satisfying. No day is the same as the last - exposure to senior MDs and live deals makes it a great place to work.

Overall, process has been very positive. Unlike some of my classmates, I've worked on a number of different deals, in a variety of sectors, in a variety of roles. I've also enjoyed the individuals that I've worked with. Needless to say, work consumes the majority of my time, but at least it's interesting and compelling.

The people are all very respectful and everyone gets along great. Also the generalist program is a great entry into the investment banking industry.
