The size of the firm allows you to really step up and take on responsibility if you are game for it, even at an early stage in your career.

Uppers

The best aspects of the firm are the collaboration, internal/external opportunities and culture.

Downers

There are occasional instances of office politics and inconsistent or inadequate recognition for high performers.

Advice to Candidates

I believe the workload in GT advisory is reasonable generally ranging between 40-49 but more so on the lower end of the range. As I mentioned previously, I believe that I'm able to effectively balance my work and life responsibilities.

Advice to Candidates

Our firm promotes being the captain of your career. To me, that means you have the ability to define "work/life balance" in a way that works for you. However, setting boundaries and expectations early is crucial to growing your career. While the firm and clients expect a lot from us, it is okay to say, "No," if your workload is unreasonable or your quality of life is impacted negatively.

I love the people I work with and the clients I work with. The location is great and the firm celebrates your achievements.
