Experienced in Tax

1.9 of 5 stars

Tampa, FL | 2018 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

engaging work, great personal

Downers

compensation, lack of in-person training, lack of responsibility

Leaving GT and coming back in the year 2020 is a good move.

1.6 of 5 stars

Mid-level in Consulting | Philadelphia, PA | 2018 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Significant Client Exposure at Junior Levels

Downers

FTO policy, Lack of Reputation, Benefits, Overall very nascent Consulting Model that is hamstrung by the firms accounting origins.

Advice to Candidates

Great place to work if you are hired in the year 2020, or after. If joining before, I caution you with a mid-tier that is on a transformation journey like GT. You may end up feeling the pressures of a big 4 environment, without the tight-knit support and agility of a boutique. Worst of both, best of neither.

Entry-level in Audit & Assurance

2.0 of 5 stars

Baltimore, MD | 2014 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Exposure to multiple industries and early responsibility

Downers

Long hours, stress, and pressure due to everyone being spread too thin

Advice to Candidates

Positive and negative aspects of a career go hand in hand, for example you will work at lot at this firm but you will notice you gain a lot of technical and soft skills and you mature at a much faster rate than your peers who work a conventional "nine to five" entry level position.

Mid-level in Forensic Accounting

2.1 of 5 stars

McLean, VA | 2014 | VERIFIED EMPLOYEE

Uppers

Many locations across the country

Downers

Poor morale and life/work/balance.
